Chris and I rode our bikes down to the Lighthouse in Sanibel to (wait for it...) fish and paint! There is my bike. I loved the keeper's cottage and the contrasting heights of the objects in the scene. The jungle-ness was great too.
Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes.
