Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes. I was just in Lowell a couple of month's back and enjoyed looking at the industrial architecture and all of the history it signifies. You've captured that in your painting in your own inimitable way. I do enjoy all your work and am inspired by it.
