I don’t know why I never posted this piece. I did it a few summers ago on the boat when my husband was doing a little night fishing on Lake Massapoag in Tyngsboro or Groton. (The lake spans both towns) I always liked it because it appreciates the beauty of the night sky and the quiet peacefulness after everyone else has left it. (My hermit tendencies are showing through...)
Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes.
