I Teach at the Georgetown Middle High School. My colleague, Jeff has some gorgeous plants in his History classroom. The patterns and colors in this one, a “Croton Petra” blew me away. I took it to a higher place.

Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes. Her style borders between representational and abstract. The colors and lines of her paintings are inspired by Matisse during the Fauvist movement.
