This is a very early piece for me in my career. I love it and have given it to my brother Jerry, who has amassed quite a collection of my work for his home. It reminds me of being at the beach and looking at what the tide brings in, swirling shapes into the sand.It isn't for sale, but you can still buy prints of it.

Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes. Her style borders between representational and abstract. The colors and lines of her paintings are inspired by Matisse during the Fauvist movement.
