Tucks Point Gazebo View Baby Onesie

One day this summer while my husband was fishing I painted this scene at Tuck's Point in Manchester by-the-sea, Massachusetts, USA. I am always struck by the color of the light and shadows of this place...the designs and patterns it creates. I am also in love with the Gatsby-like mansion in the distance. It is a breathtaking location and always seems to have endless painting possibilities!

Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes.
