This was painted en plein air at the Manchester-by-the-sea yacht club one Spring Day. Spring had sprung and I was there to record it. Chris loves to fish here and the kids love to crab or hang out on the beach and swim in the summer. Thanks to Marion and Steve Hall for sharing it with us! :)

Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes.
