Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. There is a long story affiliated with that spelling. I'm not sure you want to hear it. My father was born a Smith. When his parents divorced his mother married a man named Bretton. He said that his relative may have had a few too many while signing his name for the first time (not sure where or for who). An extra "t" may or may not have been added. So since I am really a Smith in disguise, I can't really argue one way or another! :) The things you learn about your distant relatives.

Me too, you. LOL. Now if we could only agree on how to spell the name... ;-)

Thanks Laurie! I really appreciate your comments. Of course, our styles are pretty similar. I fell in love with your work years ago! :)
