My husband and I took the boat out to Massapoag Lake in Groton or Tyngsboro, MA. I saw this cabin in the woods and knew it would make a great subject to paint. I love how I can get abstract with forest scenes!
Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes.
