This painting was created for my cousin Daniel’s and his fiancées wedding present. I asked them what place is significant to them and she said Daniel’s family farm in Foxborough, MA. I embellished it a little for artistic interpretation though. While I was finishing it up, the Lowell Sun News interviewed me and took several photos of this painting at my studio at Western Ave in Lowell. I hope the Kaisers don’t see it before I give it to them! :)
Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes.
