I painted this during Easter weekend with my 9 year old nephew Evan Bretton. We each had a canvas and I spoke to him about his composition, the size, placement and color choices of his subject. He did a fabulous job and was very proud of his first painted canvas. This was the result of my efforts :)
Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes.
