Artist's Description

I was asked recently to participate in an exhibit about the Greenough Land Trust in Carlisle, MA. This barn was part of a 242 acre site including a pond and walking trails. The exhibit will include old doors listing all interesting things happening on the farm with the year such as: "7 goslings born today, May 5, 1947" I decided to paint some of the scenes there, since old architecture in particular appeals to me. I had to walk out to the site with about 20 pounds of painting supplies on my shoulders in November and sit on the ground, but here it is. The exhibit opens in April of 2016.

Debra Bretton Robinson

Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. The talents of several other artists she continues to draw upon are: William Henry...
