Plum Cove Beach #2 Long Sleeve T-Shirt

I painted this piece one day en plein air with my Dad on the beach at Plum Cove in Gloucester, MA. He had never seen me paint a piece before. He has framed most of my work after the fact, but that was the first time he sat next to me and watched me paint. He said, "Wow! You started out with nothing and now you really have SOMETHING! That's amazing!" I was glad it was up to the standards he didn't know he had. We packed up after that and walked up the hill to our rental cottage.

Debra Bretton Robinson grew up in Plaistow, NH and received her degree from the Mass College of Art in Boston. She and her family reside in MA. Debra is now a participant in the vibrant Lowell, MA art scene. Her acrylic paintings on canvas concentrate on the natural landscapes and architecture of New England in vibrating colors. Most of her work is done "en plein air" or on site, outdoors. Frequently her scenes are painted while on her “floating studio”, her husband’s boat, while he fishes.
